While experimenting with Adsense ad placement, I used some style
sheet tricks found here:
to keep the ad fixed in the page. I asked Google Adsense if this fixed placement
of the ad would be against the Adsense TOS.
This was their reply:
Thank you for your email regarding positioning ad units on your page. Please note that at this time, you're welcome to keep your ad units at fixed positions on your page, given you do not modify the ad code to do so, and the fixed position of the ads does not cover or block page content. As we monitor all the sites displaying Google ads or an Adsense for search box to ensure compliance with policies, if we find your ad placement is in violation of our policies, we'll contact you and ask that you remove or re-implement the ad code.
